Frequently Asked Questions
- My Contacts app looks different. Where is export?
- On most phones it is under the menu then Settings then Export, or "Manage contacts" then "Import/Export". On Samsung it is Menu then "Manage contacts" then "Import or export contacts" then "Export".
- Are all my numbers and emails kept?
- Yes. The spreadsheet has columns for Full Name, First Name, Last Name, Organization, Title, Email, Phone, Address, URL, and Note. When a contact has more than one phone or email, they are combined into one cell, separated by semicolons, so nothing is lost.
- Is my contact data uploaded anywhere?
- No. The .vcf file is read and converted entirely in your browser. Your contacts never leave your device.
